Natella Isazadeh (Cont’d)

With the idea of social justice in mind, she conducted numerous hands-on investigations in some of the most inhospitable places, such as prisons, filtration camps, mental institutions, leprosarium, orphanages, elderly houses and many more.

She has been invited to a number of related international conferences and seminars such as “Rights of Accused” by American Bar Association, (Georgia), “Women Rights- Human Rights” by UNO and “International Humanitarian Law” by Baku office of ICRC. Natella continued her pursuit serving as a Research Associate at the New-York based Committee to Protect Journalists, examining cases of violations of journalists’ rights in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe countries with the consequent drafting of letters addressed to the Presidents of countries where Press was being suppressed.

Natella first entered the US as a recipient of a highly-competitive Graduate Scholarship award in 1999 and received her Master’s degree in Public Administration from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2001. Since then has been working in the field of Quality Management as a Certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor. Currently she is a member of Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan Republic and a Senior Member of American Society for Quality.
